This community-wide project will be an exploration of our City’s natural history through workshops, some presented by guest instructors, which will focus on strengthening your artistic skill set. Imagine Charley Harper and John Muir Laws.

Phase 1

Select the 100 items that our community will artistically render.  Start your participation now by giving us your input below.  Suggestions are due by Earth Day 2016 (April 22)

Phase 2

A series classes and workshops with time dedicated to the observe and create renderings of our top 100 items.  Artwork of any of the 100 items produced between now and January 13, 2017 may be submitted for inclusion in The Natural History Guide to Davis – 100 Items for 100 Years book.  The book will be published next year, just in time to celebrate the centennial of the City of Davis.
