The Art Theater of Davis and Davis Arts Center will present The Collection, a one-act play by Harold Pinter.  The final performance will be at 9pm, Friday, March 9.  Admission is $15, with tickets available at the door and in advance here.

The Collection was originally written for television in 1961 and first staged in 1962 by Pinter and the director Peter Hall at the Aldwych Theatre in the West End of London.  The action follows two London couples involved in the fashion trade, brought together by jealousy and deception. James, suspecting his wife Stella, pays a visit to Bill, a dress designer who lives nearby, seeking to know the truth about what happened during Bill and Stella’s recent work trip to a Leeds hotel.

Comprising the cast are Joaquin Murrienta (who played Trigorin in ATD’s production of The Seagull last spring) as James, Justin Mancini as Bill, Kevin Toole (Sorin in The Seagull) as Bill’s partner Harry, and Anna Fenerty as Stella.
