The closing reception for this nationally curated exhibit to raise awareness of homeless animals will feature a silent auction of art from the show and other donated items, as well as a talk by curator Ryann Casey.

Auction tables will open at 5:30 pm and close at 8 pm. Proceeds will be donated to three nonprofit animal welfare agencies: Alley Cat Allies, 4 R Friends, and Mow Wow Animals.

At 6 pm Casey, a professor of photography and art history based in Philadelphia, will speak on art, empathy, and action.

Following Casey’s presentation, Dr. Jean Rabinowitz, founder of 4 R Friends – one of the exhibit’s beneficiaries – will speak on animals at risk and how to keep pets happy, healthy, and at home.

The event will also feature wine-tasting with Hawley Winery, a special all-vegan menu by Culinerdy Cruzer, and vegan cupcakes by Let Them Eat Cake Cafe, plus vegan treats from Pet Food Express to take home to your animal friends.
