Meeting the third Sunday of the month at 2pm, The Davis Arts Center Poetry Series typically features two readers. The October 21 reading will feature Dorine Jennette and Phillip Larrea.
Dorine Jennette is the author of Urchin to Follow (The National Poetry Review Press). Her poetry and prose have appeared in journals such as Verse Daily, Puerto del Sol, The Georgia Review, and the New Orleans Review. She earned her MFA from New Mexico State University and her PhD from the University of Georgia. She lives in Davis, California.
Poetry is Phillip Larrea’s part-time job. Full-time, he works as a personal finance/investment writer. Part-Time Job is Phillip Larrea’s third book, preceded by Our Patch (Writing Knights Press), and We the People (Cold River Press).
