Meeting the third Sunday of the month at 2pm, The Davis Arts Center Poetry Series typically features two readers. Admission is free but donations are always appreciated and all proceeds benefit Davis Arts Center!  The Series is hosted by James Lee Jobe. Audio archives of previous readings can be found here.

Linda Scheller is a poet, playwright, and teacher living in California’s Central Valley. Her writing has appeared in numerous anthologies and journals including Notre Dame Review, Plays, Connecticut River Review, Poetry East, and Santa Fe Literary Journal. In 2017, FutureCycle Press published her book Fierce Light, a collection of persona poems reimagining 36 accomplished women from world history and culture. Ms. Scheller is a board member of the Modesto Stanislaus Poetry Center and the Modesto chapter of The National League of American Pen Women.
