Gerald Wooliever Senior Juried Show and Arlynne Crandall High School Art Exhibit

May 8 – May 24, 2017

The Gerald Wooliever Senior Juried Show features graduating Davis high school seniors that will pursue the study of art in college.  This year, Marcia Cary, professional artist and instructor at Davis Arts Center will jury the exhibit and award several scholarships based on the exhibited work.

The cash awards are provided by The Gerald Wooliever Scholarship Fund.
The second portion of this show, shown in the atrium and halls of Davis Arts Center, is the Arylnne Crandall High School Exhibit.  The exhibit features work by Davis high school students that either are not yet seniors or are seniors, but are not participating in the Gerald Wooliever Senior Juried Show.

For the second year, many of the works will be for sale from both exhibits.  Davis Arts Center donates all of its portion of the sale to partially fund the Wooliever Scholarship Fund.

The 2nd Friday Art About! reception, will also include the scholarship awards of the Gerald Wooliever Senior Juried Show.  Judge Marcia Cary will share her thoughts as to why she selected each Gerald Wooliever Scholarship Fund recipient.  The free reception is May 12, 6 – 7:30pm.
