Art displays by Ethnic Studies educator Melisa Moreno and by community member Javier Pinzon will represent the vibrant histories and meanings of Dia de Murtos signs and symbols. The Dia de Muertos is a Meso American tradition that encourage a sense of belonging and invites everyone to celebrate life today.  Join us. Family friendly!

Community Altar:
October 22 – November 2
Contribute an image (4”x 6” copy) of a loved one who has passed away to display on an altar in Davis Arts Center’s atrium. Free.

Celebration of Life:
November 2 / 4 – 6pm
A reception featuring music, art and poetry.  Share your remembrances from 4 – 5pm during an open mic.  Free.
