August August, is an exhibit featuring the work of Davis Arts Center’s instructors. The exhibition will include work by Robert Armstrong, Heidi Bekebrede, Sally Besser, Verena Borton, Yea Dale, Linda S. Fitz Gibbon, Marlene Lee, Sara Post, Lucy Sargeant, Christine Shackel, Stacey Vetter and Salvatore Victor.  The exhibition includes a wide variety of media including acrylic, oil, and watercolor paintings; works on paper; textiles and ceramics.

The August 14 reception will include performances by several Davis Arts Center instructors including Yoga teacher Ann Rogers, dance instructor Linda Bair and Doo Wop Singer Frank Fox.  The performances are scheduled to begin at 6:30pm.  Prior to the performances, the current instructors who have taught 25 or more years at Davis Arts Center will be acknowledged and honored.

August August will give current and prospective students an opportunity to view, learn and be inspired by the work of their instructors.  The exhibition will delight, challenge and perhaps transform.
