Davis Arts Center invites you to the Annual Holiday Sale! Shop for gifts from more than 50 art vendors, snack on tasty food, enjoy a Sunday train ride through Community Park, paint a ceramic plate, sip beer and wine and know, that ever purchase benefits Davis Arts Center. The Holiday Sale is the perfect way to welcome the season.
This year, we welcome back the family traditions of the Children’s Secret Store and Paint-A-Plate and introduce a Sunday holiday train ride*. Children can do their own shopping at the Children’s Secret Store, where volunteers help them pick those perfect items and wrap gifts for family and friends – or they can make their own gifts in the ceramic Paint-A-Plate. The Sunday holiday train ride provides a free pick and return ride for those that use the Veterans Memorial Center parking lot! Rides originating from Davis Arts Center will also be offered for $5 per person and $10 for a family of four. For those not parking at the Veterans Memorial Center, please remember Davis Arts Center offers valet parking all three days at a very nominal charge.
The sale features more than 50 art vendors selling functional and fine art goods, including ceramics, photography, cards, textiles, soaps, jewelry, clothing, home décor, candies and foods. Items range from $1 to several hundred dollars, so shoppers will be able to find gifts that fit every budget.
Sustain your shopping with a hearty meal from Davis Arts Center’s cafe! We will be serving fresh minestrone, butternut squash and vegetarian chili made be former culinary arts instructor Chef Ozzie. In addition to the soups and chili, the café’s menu also includes bread, sweets, coffee, hot chocolate, beer and wine.
Lynne Ferda returns making her amazing, limited edition line of nestwarestudio wreaths benefiting Davis Arts Center. Made of fresh greenery and ornamentation, the large wreaths bring a festive decoration to your home or business during the holiday season.
The Holiday Sale is a free, family-friendly event guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit!

We are seeking volunteers to help with the Secret Store, Cafe, Paint-a-Plate and many other aspects of the Sale. New this year, we will have an outdoor train ride on Sunday which volunteers will help collect tickets for! Always the first weekend of December, this year the Sale is on Friday, December 6, Saturday, December 7 and Sunday, December 8, 2019. Out of town that weekend? There is plenty of decorating and general set up to do in the days leading up to the Sale. We also appreciate help with clean up afterward.
