Call to Artists: Wooliever Wall of Art
(please note, this was posted in 2014 and maintained only for archival purposes).

I believe that every piece of art I create has become a piece of me, and each one says more about my character than any essay or speech ever could.

— Bianca Rosario, First Prize winner, Wooliever Senior Juried Show, April 2014

The Wooliever Wall of Art at the annual Holiday Sale benefits a very special group of young people: high school seniors who want to go on to study art in college. Unique items and artwork contributed to the Wall of Art are sold through a silent auction that continues throughout the sale.  Proceeds from the silent auction go directly to the Gerald Wooliever Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to senior high school students in a juried show each spring. The fund was named in honor of the late Gerald Wooliever, a graphic artist, mentor to art students, and Arts Center Board member.

Artists, you can help us support the next generation of young people who are finding their voices through the practice of art by donating your work to the Wooliever Wall of Art at this year’s Holiday Sale. Download a Wall of Art Submission Form and drop off it off with your artwork at the Arts Center office between Saturday, November 22 and Thursday, December 4, 2014. (Note: the Arts Center is closed Thursday – Sunday, November 27-30).

Thank you for supporting our mission to foster creativity and artistic expression for all members of our community!
